The Second International Conference THE WORLD OF ISLAM: HISTORY, SOCIETY, CULTURE

The Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) and the Mardjani Foundation for Research and Cultural Programs in cooperation with the Institute of Asian and African Studies of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg) and the State Musum of Oriental Art (Moscow) are organizing the Second International Conference “THE WORLD OF ISLAM: HISTORY, SOCIETY, CULTURE”.

The Second Conference is held under the RUDN program of scholarly readings in honour of Prof. Arthur Sagadeev (the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia). 

 

A complete list of panels and participants will be published on the Mardjani Foundation website by September, 15, 2010.  

 

Visa support is held by the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. This is the University, who will send official invitations to all the participants. 

Panel conveners will distribute a visa application form among their panelists. All the participants, whether received a financial support or not, should send copies of their passport and completed application forms not later than September, 1, 2010 to the Organizing Committee.

Participants, who received a financial support from the Mardjani Foundation should send their passport copies to the Organizing Committee at mirislama2010@gmail.com before September, 1, 2010.
