Exhibition “…And I was / was not in Arcadia…” (ЕТ IN ARCADIA EGO / non EGO…) opens September 28 in Moscow. The project of artists from Uzbekistan introduces another subjective model of contemporary artistic practices. It actualizes national archetypes, as well as post-Soviet syndrome and thoughts about social responsibility for the “Arcadia”.

 

Participants: Sandjar Djabbarov, Elena Kambina, Zaur Mansurov, Alexander Nikolayev, Bobur Ismailov, Sergei Tychina, Vyacheslav Useinov, Djamal Usmanov, Muhammed Fozili.

 

Vernissage will be held at 28 September from 18-00 till 22-00.

Exhibition is open from 28 September to 9 October 2011.

Gallery is open daily except Mondays and Tuesdays from 11-00 to 19-00.
