Muhammad Jibril

On May, 22, 2009 sheikh Muhammad Gebril  gave a lecture initiated by the Mardjani Foundation and data portal Islam.ru  in the lecture hall of the State Museum of Oriental Art.

 

This lecture was hold in the course of the exhibition “Tatar shamail: word and image. Art of calligraphy” and its goal was to show the wide audience the Art of Hafiz.

Sheikh Muhammad Gebril is a famous Egyptian hafiz graduated from the University of Al-Azhar in Cairo. Now he became a professor of Islamic Law in that University and he is often invited to the radio and TV programs in Egypt and Jordan. In 1986 he won the first prize in International Contest of Hafiz and Reciting that took place in Mecca
